Heraklion Archaeological Museum

The Heraklion Archaeological Museum is one of the most important of its kind in Europe and renowned for its huge collection of Minoan treasures. With other significant exhibitions of Neolithic and Roman artefacts, the displays cover 5,500 years of history in Crete and the Aegean islands.
