Description

Acharavi is a lively resort and is the main town of the northern part of Corfu. It offers a lovely long, sandy beach with clear, shallow waters and plenty of tavernas, bars and restaurants. There are some excellent walking trails just behind the town for those who enjoy taking leisurely strolls. The main road runs through the town and offers shops on either side with smaller streets leading from the main road to the beach where you will find everything from refreshing snacks to Greek meze meals. There are also tavernas on the beach for those who enjoy sea side dining. There are a few lively cocktail bars for those seeking evening entertainment.

Things To Do

Acharavi Beach - This 3 km-long beach is a lovely place to spend the day. Popular with families, its shallow, clear waters allow safe swimming, and restaurants are a short walk away.

Strinilas Villages - Take a hike to the highest village on the island. The views of the Ionian Sea are gorgeous, and you can enjoy them with a glass of local wine in one of the Tavernas in the village.
